Getting to Kaohsiung 202 Backpackers Hostel |

The ferry from Okinawa to Kaohsiung has stopped running.If the ferry from Japan to Taiwan starts running again we will let you know.
To get to the hostel from the Okinawa ferry terminal you can take a taxi
for about NT$90.
To get to Kaohsiung 202 hostel by bus... take number 50 from the bus stop (as you come out of The Ferry Terminal walk straight for about 50 metres then turn left and walk for another 50 metres ).....get off at Kaohsiung Girls High School -pronounced "Shung New" in Chinese. This is the stop after you cross the river. Follow the river up about 100 meters, when you pass the car park turn right and look for the "202" sign. Buses cost about NT$10.
Walking from the Ferry takes about 20 minutes and costs you nothing.
